Boat and trailer stolen in Wallaceburg

Police are investigating after the theft of a boat and trailer in Wallaceburg.

Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers officials say on Thursday June 28 at approximately 8:30 a.m. the victim in this matter was towing his boat on Dufferin Avenue, Wallaceburg when he discovered that he had a flat tire.

He unhitched the boat and went back into Wallaceburg to purchase a new tire.

Two hours later he returned to the location and the boat and trailer were gone.

The trailer is black in colour with an Indiana license plate.

The boat is a black 17 ft Basstracker, with a 115 hp Mercury outboard engine.

Crime Stoppers is seeking anonymous information that can lead the police to the boats current location or information regarding the suspects you took it.
