The Wallaceburg Red Devils have their backs against the wall in their best-of-five Ontario Junior ‘B’ Lacrosse League playoff series against the Elora Mohawks.
Elora took care of their home floor on Saturday night, convincingly beating the Devils 14-6.
The Mohawks now lead the series 2-1 and they can wrap it up on Sunday in Wallaceburg in Game #4.
Captain Cory Lucier led the charge for Wallaceburg in Game #3 with 2 goals and 3 assists.
Tanner Cole, Vern Hill, Tyler Brown and Cory Burr also scored for Wallaceburg.
Starting goalie Brayden Bell made 8 saves and allowed 6 goals in 16:12 minutes of action.
Lucas Jacobs came into the game and stopped 30 shots, while allowing 8 goals in 43:48 minutes.
Game #4 starts at 4 p.m. at Wallaceburg Memorial Arena on Sunday, July 15.
If Wallaceburg can pull off the win on Sunday, the deciding Game #5 would be back in Elora on Tuesday at 8 p.m.
