It was great sadness that the family of Joel McPhail, of Chatham in his 55th year, announce his sudden passing at his residence on Friday July 13th, 2018.
Cherished son of Rev. Paul McPhail (Virginia) and the late Rev. Anna Mae McPhail (2012). Loving and proud father of Moriah McPhail of Windsor, and Alexis McPhail and her partner Trevor Bartlett of Chatham. Loving grandpa of Lucas Bartlett. Beloved brother of Tony, and Aaron (Patti). He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews.
Joel was a Sales Representative for Realty Connects Inc. in Chatham and had spent many years in real estate.
Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519-352-2710 on Wednesday July 18th visiting from 6 to 9 p.m. A memorial service will be celebrated at St. Paul’s Congregational Church, 450 Park Ave. West, Chatham, on Thursday July 19th at 1 p.m. with Rev. David Tarcia officiating. Cremation has taken place and Joel will be interred with his mother at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
A celebration of life will follow at Willow Ridge Golf & Country Club, 439 Chatham St. S., Blenheim, at 5 p.m. Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider the Canadian Diabetes Association and Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation.
