Pearson: Margaret “Marnie” a resident of Dresden, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, July 13, 2018 at the age of 79.
Born in Cullercoats, England, daughter of the late Malcolm & Mary Hetherington. Loving mother to Kathleen & Kipp Betts of Dresden, Graham Pearson of Red Deer, Alberta, Gary & Theresa Pearson of Dresden. Cherished grandmother to Nicole & Brandon Coles, Bailee & Garrett Sacerty, Barbara & Matt Bussey, Maggie Pearson, Jena & Geoff Stoddard, Michael Pearson, Caitlin Pearson. Great-grandmother to Alaina and Alivia Coles, Quinn Sacerty, Eric Bussey, Nolan Stoddard. Marnie was predeceased by her brother Derek & Evelyn Hetherington of England. Forever missed by nephew Ian & Heather Hetherington of Georgetown and by her extended family in England.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, July 16, 2018 from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 113, 180 St. George Street North, Dresden. If desired, donations by cheque to the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 113, Dresden or the Chatham-Kent Hospice. Arrangements entrusted to Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North Street, Dresden.
