Charges laid after crash injures 11 people outside Dresden

Charges have been laid after a crash outside of Dresden last month, which injured 11 people.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege on June 22, at approximately 5:15 p.m., emergency crews responded to a two vehicle collision on Grove Mills Line near Brick Road.

The driver of a car collided with a full size van occupying 10 people.

All 11 people were transported to various hospitals in the area for medical treatment.

Two passengers from the van were transferred to London with serious injuries.

Police say the Traffic Unit has completed their investigation.

The driver of the van, a 41-year-old Thamesville man, has been charged with careless driving and failing to stop at a stop sign.

Everyone has been released from hospital, police say.
