Mitton: Douglas Lorne, a resident of Thamesville, passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the age of 60.
Doug was building inspector for the Municipality of Dutton-Dunwich and was a member of the Thamesville United Church and the Men’s AOTS. Born in Chatham, beloved son of Marjorie and the late Lorne Mitton (2015). Dear brother of Mary Jakub (Edward) of Brantford and Fred Mitton of Thamesville. Loving Uncle of Anastasia and Nikolai Jakub. Sadly missed by his Aunt Jean Elliott and Aileen Mitton. Also survived by many cousins and friends. Predeceased by uncles Lloyd and Glenn Mitton, Norman Elliott, Robert Buschemeyer (Karen).
The Mitton family will receive family and friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville, on Thursday from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The Celebration of Doug’s Life will be held at the Thamesville United Church, 107 Elizabeth St., Thamesville on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Interment of Cremains, Mayhew-Mt.Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville.
