Wallaceburg Outdoor Summer Concert Series continues tonight
The Co-Operators Wallaceburg Outdoor Summer Concert Series will continue tonight (July 17) in downtown Wallaceburg.
Live and local music will return to Library Park from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Connor Wilson & Jay Allan will grace the stage this evening.
The remaining 2018 Outdoor Summer Concert series line-up includes:
July 24 – Acousticats & Jordan Ginty
July 31 – Dave Gatt 5 & Jacklyn Wills
Aug 7 – Mikayla Lozon & Three’s A Crowd
Aug 14 – Uku Kings
The outdoor series is FREE admission and open to the public.
Those attending are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket.
On site barbecues, draws and giveaways are a part of the weekly festivities.
The series attracts local boaters, kayakers and canoes, with the live music setting on the banks of the Sydenham River.
2nd 3Rivers Roll of the summer is tomorrow
Join Community Living Wallaceburg this Wednesday, July 18 at 6 p.m. at the Oaks Retirement Village for a donation barbecue (pulled pork on a bun) followed by the second Bike Party of the Summer at 7 p.m.
3Rivers Roll is an hour long (13 km) bicycle route through Wallaceburg with a slow, relaxed pace.
It’s not a race, it’s a slow roll through various neighborhoods of Wallaceburg.
All bicycles, all ages, all abilities are welcome – bring your own music, decorate your bike and join in the fun.
Funds raised over the course of the summer will be directed towards the purchase of a wheelchair bicycle, to enable more people to participate in the event.
