Campbell Amusements is setting up at the County Fair Mall on McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg for the weekend.

Steve Stebel, the on-site manager, told the Sydenham Current the fair will run from Thursday to Sunday.

“It was an open date for us,” Stebel said.

“We wanted to give Wallaceburg another try.”

Stebel said the fair will run on Thursday from 4 p.m. until approximately 10 p.m. or 11 p.m., Friday from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. or 11 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. or 11 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. until approximately 6 p.m.

He said many rides are being setup, including a Ferris Wheel, the Gravitron and Full Tilt.

“There will also be rides for the younger kids,” Stebel added.

“Many of the rides are accommodating to adults, so they can go on the rides with their children.”

He said there won’t be day passes for the event, but there will be a ‘Mall Pass’ available, which includes 10 tickets for $25, while single tickets are $3.

All rides take one or two tickets.

Stebel said he would love to see the participants at Wallyfest, scheduled to take place in downtown Wallaceburg on Saturday, come by the fair afterward.
