Steve Mitchell, a resident of Port Lambton, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the age of 86.
Steve is the son of the late Lewis and Mae Mitchell. Beloved husband of 62 years to Betty (Vaas). Loving father of Candy Mitchell and Butch Mitchell (Darlene). Cherished grandfather of Dylan, Ian, Carmen, Cali, and Jeffrey. Great grandfather of Hannah, Kyla and Chloe. Dear brother of Noreena Satchell (Jack), Lois Satchell (late Ken) and the late Nola Storms (late Carl). He will also be missed by his sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 1 PM until time of Funeral service in the chapel at 2 PM.
