Dresden Honours McFadden Today

McFadden who passed away in March of 2017 was a third generation horseman who raced primarily in Southwestern Ontario including Dresden, Windsor, Sarnia and London.

The son of legendary horseman Levi “Jiggs” McFadden, Ted scored 172 wins in the sulky and banked over $207,000 and notched 27 training wins and chalked up over $214,000 in lifetime purses.
McFadden’s big smile and hearty laugh is truly missed around the backstretch at Dresden Raceway. He was always quick to offer help to those in need.

McFadden will be celebrated by his wife Karen, son Larry and his wife Terrie, daughter Dana Goodall and her husband Mike as well as grandchildren Gabe, Bailey, Derek, Brooke, Brady and great-grandson Bennett.
