Drug bust executed in Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say yesterday, members of the Chatham-Kent Intelligence Section executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence in Wallaceburg.

Police allege approximately $1,900 worth of marijuana and cocaine was seized along with digital scales, packaging material and cash.

A 28-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with two counts of possession for the purposes of trafficking.

He was released pending a future court date of August 23, 2018.
