Impaired driving charges laid in St. Clair

Lambton OPP officials allege on August 11, 2018 at 6 p.m. the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a complaint in relation to an erratic driver on Brigden Road in St. Clair Township that had left the roadway entering a ditch.

As a result of the complaint the OPP attended the area to investigate.

Upon OPP arrival, the driver of the motor vehicle was identified and confirmed, police say.

As a result, the driver, a 30-year-old St. Clair Township man was arrested and charged with:

– Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle- by Alcohol.

– Fail to Comply with Court Ordered Condition (2 counts).

– Possession of a Prohibited Weapon (2 counts).

– Possess Weapon While Prohibited By Court Order.

He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
