The 17-year-old swimmer of the Chatham Y Pool Sharks is on a team of 16 young women and 13 young men who are competing starting this week at the Junior Pan Pacific Championships in Suva, Fiji.
The meet will take place August 23-27.
Broad is also set to represent Canada at the Youth Olympic Games from October 3-14 in Argentina.
