James Street Ministry is holding a fundraiser for Mom’s Baby Cupboard in Wallaceburg on Saturday September 15, at the U.A.W. Hall on Elm Street.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m and the auction starts at 7 p.m.

Mom’s Baby Cupboard provides diapers, wipes, formula, baby food and gently used baby clothing to area families in need of these items.

The ‘Cupboard’ is able to provide these items at no charge thanks to generous donations from the community.

Mom’s Baby Cupboard, which is located at St. James Anglican Church in Wallaceburg, is open on the second Thursday of every month from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The fundraiser, with special auctioneer Greg Hetherington from 99.1 radio in Wallaceburg, will be auctioning off pies and new purses stuffed with surprise ‘goodies.’

There is no admission fee, but for $3 you may enjoy a slice of pie and beverage during the auction.

Bring your friends and start your Christmas shopping early!
