North Kent Mutual Insurance is donating a Toronto Blue Jays suite to the United Way of Chatham-Kent.
The United Way is auctioning off the use of the Acura Luxury Suite for the Saturday, September 8 game against the Cleveland Indians.
All the proceeds are going to the Dresden Sidestreets Youth Centre.
“North Kent Mutual Insurance purchased a VIP trip for their team to see the Toronto Blue Jays, and for reasons beyond their control, they are unable to make it work,” United Way officials say.
“So, they have very generously donated a Blue Jays VIP experience worth over $4,000 to the United Way to auction off.”
The United Way is hoping to gather $1,400 in the auction.
“Included in this price is 16 tickets to the game as well as $2,000 worth of complimentary food and beverage service. This is a deal that’s hard to pass up. A big thank you to North Kent Mutual Insurancee for generously donating this package.”
