Elsie Jean DuChene, of Wallaceburg and formerly of Port Lambton, passed away peacefully at the CKHA-Sydenham Campus on Friday, September 7, 2018 at the age of 93.
Elsie is the daughter of the late Jack and Rose Ann (Powers) Bachus. Predeceased by her beloved husband Michael Clement DuChene in 2012. Loving mother of Connie Pauwels (John), Michelle MacLean (Carl) and Colette DuChene. Dear grandmother of Michael, Adam (Nicola), Allison, Brandon (Nicole), Ryan and John and great grandmother of 13 great grandchildren. Sister of Larry Bachus (Bev) and the late Betty. Elsie was a gracious, Godly, kind and faithful woman.
The funeral will be celebrated at Bethel Pentecostal Church, 35 McNaughton Avenue, Wallaceburg, on Tuesday, September 11 at 12 Noon. The family will receive friends and family in the 2 hours prior, 10 – 12 o’clock. Interment in Riverview Cemetery at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg.
