Break-in and theft outside of Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers officials allege at approximately 4:20 a.m. on Tuesday, September 18 an unknown suspect entered several storage containers at a McCreary Line business outside of Wallaceburg.

“The suspect then loaded $8,000 worth of rims and tires in the box of a silver Dodge Ram Pickup truck,” Crime Stoppers officials said in a media release.

“The suspect then smashed the front door glass in an attempt to remove more tires but was unsuccessful at removing them from the building. The male suspect was wearing dark Under Armour clothing and had covered his face.”

Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying this suspect or the vehicle involved.
