Puggy is the daughter of the late John & Diane (Lauzon) Freeburn. Beloved wife of the late Emile (2012). Loving mother of Anthony ‘Tony’, Brian Goglia (Carole Brind-Amour), Dina (Kevin Carter) and Deborah Goglia-Kocis (John). Dear grandmother of Nikkola, Bicha, Sabrina, Michael (Kristen), Brittany (Ryan Mikel), Kathleen (Luke Belanger) and she was Gigi to Zaporah Rose and Sage Elijah. Sister of Doreen (late Jerry) and the late Pat (Evelyn), Irene, Mary (George), Mary Anne (Bill), John and Deanne (Jack). Sister-in-law of Roger Vlaminck (Fran) and Theresa Freeburn. Puggy had worked at Dominion Glass and retired from Nestle’s. She was a faithful member of the Catholic Women’s League. Puggy was also the Aunt to many many nieces & nephews.
She opened her heart and home on Blake Street to all. On a daily basis you would find a pot of coffee on, a Coors Lt in the fridge, homemade baked goods, ashtray on the table, bed to sleep in and an ear or shoulder when needed. Her home was where the Freeburn family and friends would solve the world’s problems and if anyone was missing you knew you could find them at Aunt Puggy’s.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Monday.
