Fred Booth formerly of Wallaceburg

Frederick Hubert Booth passed away on Sept. 24, 2018, in his 85th year, from complications of Alzheimer’s/ Dementia).

Fred was born in the Wallaceburg area, and lived there for 31 years, working as a milk delivery man for Jersey Dairy, and a volunteer fireman.

He moved to Michigan in 1963, where he delivered milk for London Dairy in Roseville and Mount Clemens for 8 years.

He then embarked on a 23 year career with Allegheny Airlines/ US Air. He retired in 1994.

Fred and his wife Irene loved to travel all over N.A. in their motorhome, and wintered in the Myrtle Beach Area , before settling in Harlingen Texas in 1998.

He is survived by his two sons from his first marriage (Nancy Salisbury), Daryl (Denise) of Wallaceburg, and Duane (Brenda) of Vaughan, and 7 Grandchildren (David / Amy/ Jonathan/ Nicolas and Michael/ Jaymi/ Rachel).

Fred was pre-deceased by his second-wife, Irene, in April 2018.

Fred’s has two surviving siblings, Darlene Wood ( Brabaw) of Wallaceburg, and Jimmy Booth, Campbell River, BC. Fred also has many cousin, nieces and nephews in the Chatham-Kent-Wallaceburg area.

Fred was pre-deceased by his mother, Estella Booth (Gurney) and also his adoptive Grandparents, Willard and Maude Booth (nee Murphy), and by siblings, Pearl, Elenor, Ernie, Ethel, Bea, Mervel, Della ,Leslie, Peggy, Joe, and Arthur.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 12 to 2:30 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
