Eric D’Hooghe, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away at his home surrounded by family, on Thursday, September 27, 2018, at the age of 58. Eric is the son of Joan D’Hooghe (Bray) and the late Frank D’Hooghe. Beloved husband of Patsey (Shova). Loving father of Jennifer (Barry) and Tina (Doug). Cherished grandfather of Alexandra, Matthew, Brandon, Gage, Zachary and great grandfather of Benjamin. Dear brother of Cindy Sterling (Trevor), Carla Hostler (Ken) and Kirk (Kim). Uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his canine constant companion Porky.
A private family interment will be held at Riverview Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg If desired, remembrances to The Diabetes Association may be left at the funeral home.
