Gun, electronics & jewelry stolen in Dresden

Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers officials allege during the afternoon of September 20, unknown suspects entered a home on Base Line in Dresden.

“Once inside the thieves removed a television, a Mac desktop computer, a Macbook, an iMac and an Ipod nano, along with a quantity of jewelry, Crime Stoppers officials said in a media release for their ‘Crime of the Week’.

“Additionally, a Ruger .223 Mini 14 semi-automatic rifle with a 20 round magazine, a 4 round magazine along with a quantity of ammunition were taken.”

All total the theft was over $4,000, Crime Stoppers officials say.

Crime Stoppers is seeking people’s anonymous information regarding the location of any of these items or information regarding the break and enter.
