Transport crashes in Lambton County

Lambton OPP officials allege on October 7 at 6:20 a.m. the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended the area of 21 Highway and Rawlings Road in Bosanquet Township to investigate a single motor vehicle collision involving a transport truck.

OPP officials say investigation revealed that a tractor-trailer was travelling south bound on 21 Highway approaching Rawlings Road when it lost control, crossed the north bound lanes and the intersection at Rawlings Road when it finally came to rest within a ditch located on the east side of 21 Highway.

The driver of the transport truck, a 43-year-old male from Wallaceburg, was charged with careless driving and is required to attend the Sarnia Traffic Court on December 13, 2018.
