James Kerwin of Wallaceburg

James Bernard Kerwin, an avid agriculturalist having spent more than 60 years on the Kerwin homestead at 626 Pointe Line and more recently a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away suddenly at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance-Sydenham Campus on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at the age of 92.

Jimmy is the son of the late Ralph and Rose (Jarvis) Kerwin. Beloved husband of Marion (Thibodeau) for 71 years. Loving father of Dan (Penny), David (Becky), Cathy (late John Stavoff), Pat (Barb), Marylee (Larry Brooks), Matthew (Lina) and Sarah/Sally (Lorne Dietrich) Cherished grandfather of 20 and great grandfather of 27. Dear brother of Charles (late Phillis). Predeceased by brother Joseph and sisters Mary Ann (Herman Letourneau) and Kathleen (Robert Lucier).

The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Our Lady Help of Christians Church on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 10 AM. Interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Port Lambton.
