Robert James “Bert” Huey, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully in Chatham on Friday, October 12, 2018 at the age of 95.
Bert is the son of the late William and Carrie (Deyo) Huey. Beloved husband of the late Marcelline (Matthews). Loving Father of Wayne Wilbur (Velma), Roxanne Fraser (David), Terry Wilbur, Scott Wilbur (Cindy Lou), the late Bonnie Kipp (late Gordon) and the late Maxine Tuckwell (surviving spouse Gerald). Cherished by his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Predeceased by his sister Margaret Holling (Fred) and brother Gordon Huey (Jessie). Bert was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Wallaceburg and his family would like to thank the congregation for their prayers and support.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 12 noon until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2 PM. Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.
