Griffith scores first goal with the Moose

Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith scored his first goal with the Manitoba Moose on Friday, October 12, in a 2-1 Moose win over the Belleville Senators.

Griffith opened the scoring for Manitoba, when he sped down the wing and snapped a shot past the goalie just 3:22 into the contest.

The Moose power play found some success as well on Friday, as Griffith dangled his way to the front of the Belleville goal. The rebound from his shot found its way to Mason Appleton who fired it home.

Griffith finished with the 1 goal and 1 assist.

Griffith was happy with the outcome following the game:

Manitoba fell to Belleville the following night by a score of 6-2.

The Moose are 1-3-0 so far on the season.

The 25-year-old forward has 2 points so far on the year.

The Moose will host San Antonio on Friday and Sunday in their next two match-ups.
