Before you start making this strawberry pie with frozen strawberries, pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a medium saucepan, add the frozen strawberries ( I like to buy a large bag of strawberries from the freezer section–lasts longer than fresh strawberries and is great to use in smoothies too) sugar, lemon juice, and water.
Let these cook on medium/low heat until the strawberries start to get unfrozen and soft. Then, add the butter, corn starch, and flour to the strawberry mixture and stir until thoroughly combined. Next, you will bring the mixture to a boil, stirring frequently.
Remove from the heat and let it cool before pouring it into the already prepared pie crust. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the pie crust is golden brown, rotating it at about half-way.
