The Noelle’s Gift foundation has donated a total of $76,000 to the Lambton-Kent and St. Clair Catholic district school boards to support students and families in need.

“We appreciate the ongoing support of the family of Noelle Paquette and Noelle’s Gift for students and families in need,” says Jim Costello, Director of Education for the Lambton Kent District School Board.

“This generous donation will allow our schools to support students’ success and well-being.”

“We are so grateful to the Noelle’s Gift charity for all that it does to help children in need, both in our schools and across our communities,” says Deb Crawford, Director of Education for the St. Clair Catholic District School Board. “Their generous donations each year are a fitting way to honour the life and work of Noelle Paquette.”

The $76,000 donation from the Noelle’s Gift charitable fund is shared between the two school boards to support students and their families. The money is used to purchase essential items, such as eyeglasses, clothing, food, medicine and medical equipment. The funds are dispersed independently through the two school boards.

Principals submit an application on behalf of the family in need and requests are processed quickly to ensure families receive support as soon as possible.

The Noelle’s Gift charitable fund was established in memory of Noelle Paquette, a former Kindergarten teacher with the St. Clair Catholic District School Board, who passed away in January 2013.

A presentation involving representatives of the Noelle’s Gift Foundation was held recently in Wallaceburg.
