Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say emergency crews are currently on scene of a gas leak in Chatham.
Park Ave. E. in Chatham between Hyslop St. & Park St. is closed as a gas line was stuck at a nearby property, police officials posted at around 2:30 p.m.
“Homes in the area are being evacuated as a precaution,” police officials say.
“No injuries reported. Please avoid the area.”
Police say Union Gas is enroute.
