Job fair set for today in Chatham

Over 45 Chatham-Kent employers are ready to greet the 500-plus candidates anticipated at this year’s CK Works Community Job Fair scheduled for today, Tuesday, October 23, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the John D. Bradley Centre, 565 Richmond St, Chatham.

These employers are looking to fill over 300 positions in a variety of roles from entry level to technical and management positions. Job-seekers should come dressed for success, bring resumes and be prepared for possible on-the-spot interviews.

“You don’t have to register to attend. If you’re looking for a new job, or for a change in the labour market, come on out from 2-7 pm. We hope to see you at the fair,” says Kristy Jacobs, Project Manager of the Chatham-Kent Workforce Planning Board.
