McGregor & Hall win in Wallaceburg

Wallaceburg will be represented by Carmen McGregor and Aaron Hall for the next four years on Chatham-Kent’s Municipal Council.

McGregor, who will begin her second straight term on Council, led the polls in Ward 5 with 1,866 votes (36.62%).

Hall grabbed the second seat in Wallaceburg, gathering 1,673 votes (32.84%).

This was Hall’s first run for a Council seat in Chatham-Kent.

Randy McNeil finished third at the polls with 818 votes (16.05%) and Nick Cadotte was fourth with 738 votes (14.48%.)

McGregor and Hall met on James Street on Election Night for a shared hug and celebration.

McGregor watched the election results with her family, friends and supporters at James Street Eatery, while Hall was across the street with his family, friends and supporters at The Black Goose.

Current Wallaceburg Coun. Jeff Wesley had announced last year that he would not be seeking re-election.

Wesley publicly supported both McGregor and Hall during their campaigns.
