Mr. John Leroy Hooper, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at his residence with his family by his side, at the age of 79.
John was born in Camden Township and is a son of the late Charles and Dorothy (McFadden) Hooper.
Beloved husband of Judy (Turner) Hooper.
Loving father of Kevin (Barb), Shelly, Tami (Ken), Jean (Patsy), Michelle (Conrad) and Travis (Nicole).
Dear grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Kind brother and brother-in-law of Gail Jauniaux, Michael (Wendy) Hooper and Lynne Hooper.
He is predeceased by his brothers Wayne Hooper and Gerald Hooper and his sister Brenda Hamilton
Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The late John Hooper is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.
Following his request, cremation has taken place.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 4 – 7 p.m., funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. from the chapel of the funeral home.
A private family interment will take place at a later date
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Ronald McDonald House or the War Amps may be left at the funeral home.
