The lights went out in Wallaceburg and parts of Dresden on Monday morning, November 19.
Entegrus officials say all power was restored by approximately 9:30 a.m.
Reports say the outage began at around 7:30 a.m.
Here are the updates provided by Entegrus:
8:30 a.m. – Entegrus is experiencing an outage affecting approximately 200 customers in the town of Wallaceburg. Crews are patrolling the lines to determine the cause. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
9:00 a.m. – Approx. 1200 customers are out of power at this time. Crews are working to fix the issue.
9:18 a.m. – All power to Wallaceburg has been restored. The issue stemmed from the supply causing one of Entegrus’ circuits to open.
9:20 a.m. – An additional outage in Wallaceburg is being reported in the North and Central parts. Crews are investigating.
9:36 a.m. – Reports of all outages in Wallaceburg should now be restored. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience.
The cause of the outage is still under investigation, Entegrus officials say.

There were no reports of any school closures as a result of the outage.
The Sydenham District Pool had been closed, but has since re-opened.
