Mrs. Bonnie Leeann Cross, a resident of Blenheim, riding that eternal highway in the sky with her husband of 43 years, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Chatham-Kent Hospice, in Chatham, at the age of 68, after a battle with breast and bone cancer.
Bonnie was born in Windsor on April 8, 1950 to her late parents Gerard (2013) and Ethel (Burroughs) (1952) Robinet. Dearly missed by her stepmother Leona Robinet.
Beloved wife of Gerald “Jerry” Cross (2017).
She was raised by her late grandparents Veronica (Desrosier) (1990) and Steve Robinet (2000).
She is survived by her loving daughter Kimberley “Kim” Cross and two sons Ritchie Kanally and Steve (Dana) Kanally.
Special Mom to Jim, Mary Ellen and Memé to Paige and Brandon.
Sadly missed by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her son Sean Cross (2002) and her sister Cheryl Robinet (2014).
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Following her wishes, cremation will take place. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 12 noon with visitation one hour prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m ., all from the Chapel of the Funeral home.
Interment in Shetland Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice or the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance may be left at the funeral home.
