Bird: Doug, a resident of Sarnia, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the age of 75.
Born in Chatham, son of the late Elwood and Dorothy (Hoyles) Bird. Doug is survived by his wife Jocelyn (Matthews) Bird and her children Eric and Shauna Johnston. Cherished father of Jackie Gagner (Chris), Janice Doforno (Luis), Heather Bird (Rob Frye). Proud grandfather of Gabe & Maddison, Hannah & Mitch, Heaven & Danielle, Kaiden, Grace Lynne, Dylan and great grandfather of four. Dear brother Don Bird (MaryJane) and uncle to Jennifer Bird Angela Thorne (Bird) and Dan Bird. Also survived by a sister-in-law Sheila Martin (John), his mother-in-law Olive Findlay, and many cousins and friends.
The Bird family will receive friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St. Dresden on Sunday from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Interment Dresden Cemetery.
