KFA holding AGM in Ridgetown

The Kent Federation of Agriculture (KFA) is hosting their annual meeting Wednesday, December 5th, 2018 at Ridgetown Campus, University of Guelph.

All Farmers are invited to attend.

In lieu of a guest speaker this year the KFA has chosen to show the short film ‘Food Evolution’ which is a documentary on sustainable food and GMO’s.

The KFA Annual meeting is also a time to recognize and thank a few local folks for their contribution to our community. The following awards will be presented.

KFA Scholarship awards – Matthew Laevens

KFA Meritorious Award – Darrin Canniff and Leon Leclair

Ed Campbell Memorial, Director of the year award – Steven Piche

Election of the new KFA Board of Directors will also take place.

If you or someone you know might be interested in being on the KFA Board, please give the KFA office a call.

Tickets for the KFA annual meeting are $10 each which includes a hot lunch.

Tickets are available by contacting the KFA office 519-674-1500 ext.63595 or kfa@uoguelph.ca and must be reserved in advance.

The meeting will begin at 12 noon with lunch followed by elections, awards and film.
