Last Thursday, December 13, Chuck’s on Dufferin hosted ‘Tips for CK Hospice’ at their Dufferin Avenue location in Wallaceburg.
Hospice officials say “thanks to generous community support” a total of $1,000 was raised.
“We are very grateful to Chuck’s on Dufferin for helping us raise the funds needed to operate the hospice every month,” said Julia Earley, community and donor relations coordinator.
“Their generous donation will cover the cost of a full week of groceries and dietary needs for residents and their families ($750) and five hours of music therapy ($250).”
