Helena Julia Ermatinger (nee Taylor) passed away peacefully in Wallaceburg on Monday, December 17, 2018 at the age of 67.
Helena is the daughter of the late Harvey Taylor Sr. and the late Amanda Garcia (nee Gilbert). Predeceased by her beloved husband Amos Francis Ermatinger Sr.. Loving mother of Lisa Marek, Amos Jr., Stephanie, Angel, Leah, Holly, Brandee, Jordan, Taylor and the late Michelle Lee. Dear grandmother of Patrick, Matthew, Christopher, Shyanna, Mariah, Sydney, Kisshooxkw, Noodin, Lucus and Halle and great grandmother of Macie, Maylee, Ayla, Mason, Isla and Grayson. Sister of Elaine Taylor, Harvey Cearle Jr., Therese Lallean, Marlene Contreras, Pete Contreras, Leonard Contreras, Veloria Contreras and the late Ronald and Patricia Gilbert. Sadly missed by her aunts Monnie, Helena, Jennie, Shirley and Sharon.
She was the auntie of many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Evangelistic Centre, 156 Dan Shab Road on Walpole Island First Nation on Friday from 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be celebrated at the Evangelistic Centre on Saturday, December 22 at 1 PM. Interment to follow at Highbanks Cemetery.
