Barrie Leigh Davis, a resident of Port Lambton, passed away peacefully at the Wallaceburg Retirement Residence on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the age of 80.
Barrie is the son of the late Clifford Ralph & Hazel Ione (Bowles) Davis. Loving father of Leslie Thompson and Blake Davis (Sherri). Dear grandfather of Brandi Thompson and Brett and Leah Davis. Brother of the late Shirley Davis (2012). He will be missed by his many cousins and friends. An active farmer, Barrie had retired from Terra. He enjoyed winters in Dunedin watching the Blue Jays games. He was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association since 1974, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 18, Port Lambton United Church was a volunteer firefighter with the Port Lambton Fire Department and the chair of the McDonald Cemetery Board.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Thursday. The funeral will be held at Port Lambton United Church on Friday, December 28 at 11 AM with visiting at the church in the hour prior.
