Multiple thefts in Wallaceburg, Dover, Blenheim

The Chatham-Kent Police Service are investigating after multiple thefts and break-ins across the community.

Theft of tires from Jack’s Tire Craft

Police officials allege: On Sunday morning, between 4:20 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. unknown suspects forced their way into a storage unit at Jack’s Tire Craft on McCreary Line, just outside of Wallaceburg, and stole tires.

B&E in Dover Township

Police officials allege: Sometime yesterday between noon and 4 p.m. unknown suspects entered a residence on Angler Line.

Once inside, the suspects stole a television, surround sound system, alcohol and jewelry.

Theft of lawn equipment in Blenheim

Police officials allege: Sometime between Sunday at 5 p.m. and yesterday at 8 a.m. unknown suspects forced their way into a shed on Chatham Street North in Blenheim causing about $50 damage.

Once inside, the suspects stole a 42” black lawn sweeper valued at $300.

Theft of tools on Beechwood Line

Police officials allege: Sometime within the last month, unknown suspects entered a garage on Beechwood Line and stole a welder, small motor and cable.

Total value of the theft has been estimated at $1,100.
