Wasakoum Gerald AUSTIN Nathaniel Myers of Dublin Georgia and formerly of Walpole Island First Nation, passed away peacefully in Savanah, Georgia on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the age of 29.
Austin is the beloved son of Nahnee and Gerald Myers Sr. and grandson of Cynthia ‘Maamis’ Williams and the late Peter Williams Sr. and the late Mr & Mrs Peter “Papa” & Rena Myers Sr. Loving husband of Leslie Myers. Dear father of BreeAnna, Kassi, Jasper and Piper. Brother of Seth, Sabine, Ebony and Sky’Lyn and brother in law of April McDaniel, Brandy and Jake Lewis. Son-in-law of Jackie & the late David Hooks.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Cynthia’s home on Squirrel Island on Wednesday and Thursday nights. The celebration of Austin’s life will be held at the Walpole Island Sports Complex on Friday, January 18 at 11 AM.
