Lila Mae Hofmann, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully at Fairfield Park on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at the age of 89.
Lila is the daughter of the late Alphy and Mamie (Lozon) Emery. Predeceased by her beloved husband Leyander ‘Lee’ Hofmann in 1986. Loving mother of Garry Hofmann (Tom), Darlene Gordon (the late Chip) and the late Wayne (Judith). Dear grandmother of Heather Gordon and Don Gordon (Melanie) and great grandmother of Ruby, Janey and Lara. Sister of Marie Lauwers (late Marcel) and the late Darcy Emery. Lila had retired from North American Plastics and had lived at the Oak’s and Fairfield Park and was a proud member of the Catholic Women’s League.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Sunday with prayers at 3:30 PM. The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Our Lady Help of Christians Church on Monday, January 21 at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Riverview Cemetery.
