Man airlifted after serious crash

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday, shortly before 1 p.m. emergency crews responded to the area of Main Line and Zone Road 6, Dawn Euphemia Township, in response to a single motor vehicle collision.

Preliminary investigation has revealed that the driver, and lone occupant in the vehicle, lost control and left the roadway.

The 45-year-old Bothwell man was extricated by emergency personnel and immediately airlifted to Victoria Hospital in London with life-threatening injuries.

The Traffic Management Section has taken over the investigation.
