As the result of an automobile accident on Monday, January 21, 2019, Douglas Andrew Hunter, age 56, of Alabama and formerly of Chatham-Kent. Beloved husband of Kathleen Hunter of Glencoe, Alabama. Born in Chatham in 1962, son of Anita Louise (Tanguay) and Donald Hunter of Chatham.
He will be sadly missed by his son Nicholas (Rebecca) Hunter of Wallaceburg, daughter Shallyn (Aaron) Rudakas of Tupperville, daughter Chloe of Alabama and his stepchildren Jesse Noah and Abby Noah of Georgia. He is also survived by his grandson Atlas and his brother Vincent (Caroline) Hunter of Chatham.
Cremation has taken place.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 7-9 PM. A Memorial Service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 11 am.
Donations to Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital (McGill University) would be appreciated.
