Mr. Henry “The Barber” Debergh, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the age of 88.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 68 years, Madeline (Janssens) Debergh, children Michelle Debergh and Karen Debergh (Philip Moses); along with grandchildren Emily Branton (Matthew Hutchinson) and Haven Moses.
Predeceased by his parents Camille and Emily (VandenBossche) Debergh and his son Dennis Debergh (2008).
Kind brother and brother-in-law of Art and Diana Debergh, Rene and the late Barbara Janssens, Joe and Helen Janssens, and the late Mary and James McGuire.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The late Henry Debergh is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.
Following his wishes, cremation will take place.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019, which would have been his 89th birthday, from 1p.m. to 3 p.m. with the service immediately following from the Chapel of the funeral home at 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice may be left at the funeral home.
