Herman Kraayenbrink

Herman Kraayenbrink of Port Lambton passed away peacefully at Fairfield Park in Wallaceburg on Friday, February 8, 2019 at the age of 91.

Herman is the son of the late Evert Jan and Frederika (Lammers) Kraayenbrink. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 61 years Johanna (Heusinkveld). Loving father of John (Bertha), Henry (Darlene), Rick (Susan), Evelyn (Ken Trumble), Erica (John Lubbers), Jim (Lucia), Rob and the late Anita (Glen Lubbers). Dear Opa of 25 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Brother of the late Dina, Aaltje, Bernard, and Henk. Brother of Riek Bosman, John, Evert, and Gordon Kraayenbrink.

Herman emigrated to Canada on May 26, 1949. He farmed in Port Lambton all his life with his family. He was a member of the Wallaceburg Christian Reformed Church and a supporter of the Wallaceburg Christian School. His love of God, family, church, and school filled his life. Thank-you to the wonderful staff at Fairfield Park in Wallaceburg for the compassionate care provided for the past 3 years.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Wallaceburg Christian Reformed Church (150 Bruinsma Ave) from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Monday. The funeral will be celebrated at the church on Tuesday, February 12 at 11 AM. Interment to follow at McDonald Cemetery in Port Lambton.
