Dresden man facing impaired driving charges

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: This morning, police were in general patrol in the city of Chatham when officers conducted a routine traffic stop.

Police believed the driver was driving while under the influence of alcohol.

He was arrested and transported to police headquarters for breath tests.

A 47-year-old Dresden man has been charged with driving with a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit and operating a motor vehicle while impaired.

He was released pending a future court date.
