Fail to remain crash investigation launched

Local authorities are investigating a fail to remain crash in Chatham.

Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers officials allege on Thursday, February 14 at approximately 12:30 p.m. an
unknown female left the Little Caesars restaurant on St. Clair Street in Chatham.

“She entered a red Dodge Caravan and then reversed into a parked car,” Crime Stoppers officials said in a media release.

“The Caravan then drove away from the scene of the accident. Witnesses indicated that the driver would be aware of the accident. The Caravan should have damage to the passenger side rear bumper.”

Officials say Crime Stoppers is seeking information that can identify the female driver of the van along with witnesses to the accident.

“If you have information that can help solve this incident call 1-800-222-8477 with your anonymous information and you could earn a cash reward,” Crime Stoppers officials said in a press release.
