SCCDSB Director’s report approved
Director of Education Deb Crawford presented the Director’s Annual Report 2018 to the Board of Trustees on Tuesday night.
“I am proud to present this report to the Board, parents, staff and our parish and community partners,” says Crawford.
“My report highlights some of the many innovative and effective educational programs and initiatives undertaken at St. Clair Catholic throughout the 2017-2018 academic year. I am also pleased to report that we have met or exceeded many of the strategic targets and goals outlined in our strategic plan.”
The report highlights the Board’s accomplishments, through the three pillars of the strategic plan – living our faith; promoting educational achievement and innovation; and fostering stewardship, leadership and social justice.
“I am grateful for the tremendous hard work and commitment of our staff,” Crawford says.
“Without their dedication, we could never have achieved such a high degree of success.”
Section 283(3) of the education act requires that the Director of Education submit annually to the Board of Trustees and to the Minister of Education a report on the Board’s activities.
The full report will now be forwarded to the Ministry of Education and posted to the Board website.
