‘Major health infrastructure’ announcement
Provincial officials will be in Wallaceburg on Friday morning, February 22, for an announcement at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance’s Wallaceburg site.
Monte McNaughton, the Minister of Infrastructure and MPP in Lambton-Kent-Middlesex, will be joined by Rick Nicholls, MPP for Chatham-Kent-Leamington, to make the announcement.
Few details have been released, but people will be able to watch the announcement LIVE on McNaughton’s Twitter page, here.
McNaughton offered few details on social media on Thursday, but called the event a “major health infrastructure” announcement.

Sr. Star Search Finals
The Canadian Belgian Dutch Club (CBD) has been holding their Sr. Star Search contest, which started on Friday, February 8, with the first preliminary round.
The second round was held on February 15.
Competing in the finals are: Wayne Phillips, Denis Labadie, Bernie Grass, Ann Labor and Nick Olmstead, Peter Sarapinickas, Lisa Michaud, Alan DeLaet, Granville Boutilier and Bill Thibeault.
The finals are taking place tonight, Friday, February 22 at the CBD in Wallaceburg.
