The Lakeshore Canadiens took a 2-1 series lead over the Dresden Kings on Friday night, after a 4-3 win in Game #3 of their best-of-seven Stobbs Division playoff series.

Brendan Soto scored on the powerplay at the 11:12 mark of the third period for the game winner.

It was a back-and-forth contest, with four lead changes throughout the game.

Greg Hay, Elijah Duquette and Geoffry VandenBoorn scored the goals for Dresden.

Brett Bochu made 45 saves in the loss.

Lakeshore out-shot the Dresden club 49-22.

Game #4 will be played on Sunday, Feb 24 in Dresden at 7:30 p.m.

Game #5 takes place on Tuesday, Feb 26 in Lakeshore at 7 p.m.

If necessary, Game #6 will be held on Friday, March 1 in Dresden at 7:30 p.m. and Game #7 will be held on Saturday, March 2 in Lakeshore at 7 p.m.
